How we started
A long time ago, in a pub far far away, our founder, Adrian, found himself deep in conversation with fellow patrons. Over pints of ale and packets of pork scratchings, they shared tales of outdoor adventures and dreams of exploration. It was in this moment of camaraderie that the idea was born – to create a retreat where the spirit of adventure could thrive, without sacrificing the comforts of home. And so, fuelled by passion and a few too many pints, our journey began.
Our story
We’re here to make adventure easier for everyone. We just want a good time: unfussy, non-prescriptive, uncomplicated, unrefined…acomfy bed, a hot shower, good food and good times with friends and family.
If camping’s too wild, hotels are too boring and Airbnbs have too many rules - then we’re the ones for you. Whether you want to find a new favourite pub, hike your way through a national park or just kick back in front of the fire, we’ve got you covered.
