The pub has recently relaunched, focusing on real ales, a small but well-considered food offering, and an extensive calendar of events, including various food and drink tastings and real ale and craft ale festivals.

The pub has a delightful interior with natural fires in inglenook fireplaces and many original carved wood features. Outside, there is a beautiful south-facing beer garden. Guests can also have free tea and coffee in the pub!
